Day 1; arrive at Aberdeen airport, where we will meet you all and transfer to your first hotel. Dinner is included at the hotel this evening.

Day 2; our first real day in Scotland, after a fully cooked Scottish breakfast we head out to explore the countryside and visit Huntly Castle. We also visit Elgin and Glenfiddich distillery, where we have a distillery tour and chat with the guides on whisky tourism. Overnight again at the hotel in Huntly, dinner included.

Day 3; we drive further west this morning as we head to Inverness and Loch Ness. Our first visit will be Urquhart Castle for an insight into the history of this castle. Returning from the castle we will take to the water, as we sail along Loch Ness back towards Inverness. As much as possible we will be having wee chats with various people involved in the tourist industry, on our tour. Overnight tonight in Inverness at a hotel overlooking the River Ness. Dinner tonight will be of your own choice but we are looking to book the whole group into a Scottish pub for dinner!

Day 4; our final full day in Scotland. We will be heading north towards Dunrobin castle, the largest house in the Highlands, superb castle tour and a garden tour in a beautiful setting. With a stop at an ancient Pictish dun, we then head back to Inverness.  Once again dinner is at your own leisure. Overnight Inverness.

Day 5; as we transfer back towards Aberdeen, we will pay a visit to a garden centre and heather visitor centre. Time for lunch before boarding the coach again for Aberdeen, where we bid you farewell at the airport.
